The only thing that separates the heavens from the earth is an atmosphere. Our speech should be in agreement with God’s word to create a heavenly atmosphere in our lives, and to close the gap between heaven and earth. By speaking the Word of God, we create an atmosphere where we no longer only talk about the promises of God, but we see the promises from heaven manifest in our lives.
God’s Word became a voice when Jesus, the resurrection and the life, stepped up to the tomb of Lazarus and called him from the realm of the dead (Jn. 11:43). God, the Father, hears the spoken word of God (Jn. 11:25), instead of the opinions and words of man (Jn. 11:39). If we hear the word of God, we would believe the promises of God. Our faith closes the gap between what we believe God can do for us, and what He has promised over our lives (Rom. 10:17).
The voice of God has the ability to call what is dead in your life out of its tomb. Your words are important, and they have the capacity to change the atmosphere.
We need to come into agreement with the Word of God, not only to hear it but to speak God’s truth and apply the written Word of God to our lives. When our speech is in agreement with heaven, angels move on heaven’s behalf to do the perfect will of God in our lives.
