Grace

There is nothing as needed and as powerful as the Grace of God. We are all called to serve, but there are limitations (weaknesses) in us. God’s grace is the enabling power that makes us useable in His Kingdom. We often think that we cannot be used by God, because of our weaknesses, but God says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Grace is the strength of God that is placed on your weakness. Our problem is that we’re trying to get our problems into heaven instead of trying to get heaven into our problems. We think that because we have issues, we can’t minister to others. But you cannot wait until all your issues disappear before you become usable by God. If that was the case, you wouldn’t need grace, because God only places His grace on weakness. There is nothing that you are weak in that God doesn’t have the grace for. Know that God’s grace looks different on everyone. There is a specific situation in the Kingdom of God that only you – with His grace on you – can fix.

When you have God’s grace, you have His enabling power. God divinely enables you and divinely influences your heart so that you can do what you couldn’t do before. Thus, we do not minister out of our own ability, but through grace. Ultimately, the purpose of grace is to serve one another and through our serving, bring glory to God.
