two worlds

We live in a world with two separate kingdoms, and as Christians, we cannot abide with the world but should stand for God’s Kingdom. Our actions, thoughts, and choices are different from the response of the world, for if we choose to side with the world, we are unequally yoked (2 Cor. 6:14). We want to represent and have the things of God’s Kingdom.

As Jesus journeyed with His disciples, He revealed God’s Kingdom here on earth through His works. The thing that separates us from the world is our foundation in the word of God (Jn. 17:17), for God’s word, has the power to transform our world. The Bible teaches us that as we live in this world, we should not conform ourselves to this world’s ways, for choosing to live according to God’s divine plan, we submit ourselves to God’s kingdom.

God’s Kingdom is like a treasure, and to receive it, we should sacrifice the things of this world (Matt. 13:44). God has given us the authority to live, rule, and reign on the earth and embrace the fullness of His kingdom. Above all things, we should choose God, for our reward is not of this world but in heaven.
