WHAT I HAVE
When you look at your circumstances, it’s easy to lose faith in God’s word over your life. Sometimes we trust the resources around our lives more than the resource of God within us. You have what Christ has finished on the cross, the power and wisdom of God within you to change your circumstances (1 Cor. 1:24).
In the parable of the rich young ruler, Jesus counsels the young man how to receive eternal life (Matt. 19:16). Jesus told him to sell all he owns and follow Christ because the resources in the young ruler’s life, is not the answer to what God wants to do in his life. He who lives within you, is far greater than what is around you, and sometimes we need to live within the purpose of Christ in us. God doesn’t want us to rely on external factors, but He wants us to use the power and the wisdom of God to crush the devil’s head under our feet (Rom. 16:20).
God’s power and wisdom made us free from the limitations of our lives. It allows us to step into our destiny and speak life over our circumstances, leaving the devil powerless. What you have is enough. The enemy may attempt to exert his foul influence over your life, but he is merely using empty threats and illusions to feed fear into your mind. Have faith in God, for He has given us not the spirit of fear; but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7).
